Grandma Geri's Wonderful Walnut Fudge ...p114

Very creamy and delicious - if you want a fudge that tastes yummy enough to slice and serve to your favorite people, this is a good choice.  While the boiling and stirring adds to the summer heat, thank God you don't have to wash your clothes this way!  I rather enjoyed watching the thick sludge bubble and burst....

WONDERFUL WALNUT FUDGE

2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 5-oz. jar marshmallow cream
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts

Mix first five ingredients in saucepan, stirring constantly.  Heat to boiling and boil for five minutes.  Remove from heat, add chips and stir until melted.  Add vanilla and nuts and spread on buttered 8" pan.  Cool until firm and cut into small squares.
